Make-up artist and beauty professional known for clean natural make up looks. She is a champion for the older face creating workshops and her beauty blog which celebrates women midlife and beyond
Karen has worked for fashion and beauty magazines, catwalk shows, advertising and celebrity shoots. Her eye for detail for close beauty led her to work with many hair brands and hairdressers including many past winners of The British Hairdresser Award. Karen has travelled the world with her skill and lectured at some of Londons top make up schools.

Founder of The Graceful Disgraceful Make-up Experience Launched in 2020 with great success, this unique session is designed for older women and takes them on a journey from bare face to a healthy glow. With lots of tips and advise on make-up and lots more besides. Karen feels women are more relaxed and open in a group albeit a small group when everyone is facing the same ageing challenges or perhaps the wisdom of those further along their ageing journey. Always alot of fun, whats not to love?

Her love for applying make up never ends, she attained a certificate in cosmetic airbrushing, which is available to the many brides she works with to ensure the best service she can offer.

Photographic Experience
I began taking pictures when I started my beauty blog for women over 50. Not a photographer, but it was the only realistic way to get the images I wanted without having the cost of a photographer or need to travel. I started with my smartphone camera, but have now progressed to DSLR camera, which I love. What started as a way to record my make up for a beauty blog became something much more. A love of creating images, a hunger to learn more and an aim to address the lack of positive imagery featuring older women.
A certified nutrition and weight management adviser with a real interest in the concept of beauty inside and out. She has given weekly NHS referral Obesity sessions for SHAPE UP 4 LIFE and is a trained Health Champion for Wiltshire which is a volunteer role supporting the Health Trainers spreading health awareness to the community.
Not practicing weight management at the moment, but her knowledge stays with her. Working with clients to help them achieve great skin and general wellness through healthy diet, exercise, beauty regime and positive outlook, which ties up beautifully with Graceful Disgraceful Make up Experience. she work s with individuals, salons and corporate, a volunteer and spreads awareness for Look good feel better – the beauty industry charity for women with cancer.
