I was kindly gifted Phil Smith Everyday Expert shampoo and conditioner to try. I am a teeny bit biased as Louise Smith (Phils Wife) is my hairdresser, but saying that I think I am known for my honest thoughts and honest I shall be. I have chosen Curl control as this seems to suit my hair type the best. I have fine curly hair that is prone to frizz. I do have some highlights and the texture has changed due to its inevitable greying nature. The product is manufactured in the UK and contains vegan friendly ingredients. The Curl Control active ingredient is Grapeseed Oil, which hydrates and defines your curly locks.The packaging does make you gravitate towards it, with its squeezable tubes of yummy bright pastels. The Curl control being a pretty shade of tangerine – sits beautifully against my duck egg tiled bathroom.

So how has this shampoo and conditioner performed for my hair.
I have just had my hair cut quite alot shorter, which encourages the curl, but it is also feeling healthier for the cut. This shampoo and conditioner however, seems to leave my hair feeling thicker, and less dry compared to others I have used. The curls are defined too not just a frizzy mess. Frizz free 🙂 The shampoo lathers well with a pleasant aroma. The conditioner has a creamy texture and feels luxurious on your hair.
Conclusion
All in all I really like this product. It is rare these days for my hair to feel thicker, but still soft and curly so I would recommend to others.
