Sunny Eyes Up
When “Look Fabulous Forever” invited me to try their new Creamy Eyeshadow Sticks, I eagerly accepted. It was the perfect excuse to invite someone into my makeup chair to try out a new product and capture them through my lens for my “Over 50 and Fabulous” photo project.
The Look
For Vicky’s session, I envisioned a sun-kissed look for a natural summer story and for her sunny eyes up I used the Look Fabulous Forever Creamy eyeshadow stick in Copper to add a warm shimmer to her eyelids, softly blending it under her eyes for a cohesive effect. To accentuate her features, I applied the Champagne stick as a highlighter beneath her brows, creating a gentle lift. I prefer to keep things monotonal, so I chose similar shades for her cheeks and lips. To complete the look, I added a touch of Hollywood Flawless Filter to give her skin a radiant glow.
Summer looks are all about freshness and luminosity, and I find that using illuminating, glossy products can be incredibly youthful and rejuvenating. It goes against the traditional advice for older skin, but I believe that women over 50 can truly shine with the right touch of glow and colour.
Capturing Vicky’s sun-kissed look on camera was great fun as always, and the photos truly showcased her fabulous spirit. Each session reminds me of the power of makeup not just to enhance, but to celebrate the beauty and vitality at every age.
