The Graceful Disgraceful beauty project #onefaceatatime- I started this beauty project early 2020, but put it a side during the Covid lockdowns. However this period has given me time to ponder new ideas.
My aim was to do make up make overs on women 50+ and collect information around beauty, ageing and to research what contributes to how we age as individuals.
Does the stresses we face and the way we live our lives make a dramatic difference to how we age or is it all down to genetics?
How do we feel about our own ageing journey?
Is any negativity that we may feel about ourselves as we grow older, fueled by a negative society view on older women?
Do you think seeing untouched fun and positive imagery can make a difference to the view on age?
There is definitely a lack of positive imagery showing older women. So I wanted to take Graceful Disgraceful Beauty one step further and produce some fun, untouched, non- stereotypical beauty/makeup images of older faces. Highlighting with a shout out to ourselves (me included) and the wider community

As well as images I will be asking those questions and continuing looking at beauty techniques and products for the pro-age women. l will share on this blog and my @gracefuldisgraceful insta page.
This is a personal project highlighting make up and beauty for the older women and an undertaking I am doing for fun and my own interest, sharing with those who may enjoy too.
