The Tooth fairy seems to turn to The Tooth Witch.
A little vain I know, but before a recent trip to the dentist I spent some time studying my teeth in a magnifying mirror. Oh my goodness how scary was that. Your teeth and gums do change with age, mine apparently quite alot on close inspection. Your teeth are also part of your personality and mine a big part with the gap smile, which as a teenager I hated, but now it is who I am.
I discovered a weird line down the centre of my front teeth, which luckily I cant see without glasses. I guess this is why it is so important to take regular visits to the dentist and hygienist. Of course there are many cosmetic procedures you can do these days, but I am personally not keen on the veneers and as I am allergic to many toothpastes and some lipstick I avoid anything alien when it comes to gums and teeth. Also the thought of any major work at the dentist fills me with dread. I don’t even care for holding that liquid in my mouth for 60 secs-Re Covid, what does that do anyway, it seems a bit like the Donald Trump answer to killing Covid with disinfectant. HaHa!
I do like my dentist really.
The outcome from my dentist visit is to have a small filling where the gums have receded and look a bit discoloured. I will try one and take it from there.
